About Me

Hi! I’m Robert DC. Reyes, my friends call me Bob, you may call me Bob, too! I own a small website hosting company named TurfSite Computing, Inc. http://www.turfsiteph.net and I love playing music. I am a self-taught piano/organ player since I was 10 years old.

When I was in high school, I was privileged enough to be mentored by three masters of their craft: Messrs. Michael Coroza, Edgar Faune, and Edwin Edpalina. Mr. Coroza brought out the best in me in playing with the school’s rondalla, while Mr. Faune enhanced my note reading skills and introduced me to a deeper understanding of music, and Mr. Edpalina introduced me to the concepts and technology behind MIDI.

I am so in loved with music, that I spent my first semester in college at Sta. Isabel taking up Bachelor of Music Major in Piano (minor in Organ). Culture shock (as I came from an all boys school, then enrolling to an all girls college) plus disagreements from my parents made me transfer to another university and eventually earning a diploma in Computer Science.

But my passion for music did not stopped there. Since 1998, I had been playing in the Children’s Mass of San Ildefonso Parish (Makati City). I had written several songs in college, some of which were entered in local song writing competitions (one co-written by DJ Rob of iFM) and had actually won.

I created this website to serve as a repository of all my music stuff.
